Patch 0.8.8.7 Announcement: Commutator, GATE 03, Event System
Work on the long-awaited patch with the continuation of the story is nearing completion. It will bring an encounter with an unexpected enemy, new resources and military vehicles, an increased level cap, new ComNET versions, new mechanics, plot twists, and new locations. The estimated release date is the first half of next week.
Players who have not reached high levels will also receive new content, along with a rebalance aimed at simplifying some of the less enjoyable parts.
The delay in releasing new content is partly due to the huge number of new features we are preparing for you. Here is what also awaits you in the upcoming patches:
- Commutator
A new device called the Commutator will appear in the game. It will allow you to “call” humanoids who are inside the simulation. From them, you will be able to obtain information about hidden caches and start secret quests.
- Event System
Under certain conditions, events will occur on the map screen, triggering new quest chains.
- GATE 03
This time, the construction of GATE 03 will take place in a separate location, where you will have to build a city for the Xeons. Many buildings will have unique functions, and there will also be an analogue of the mine.
- Event
Very soon, an event will start in the game that will allow you to make cassettes and floppy disks relevant again. Those who fully completed the New Year event can safely ignore it. Those who did not manage to finish it will get a second chance. The event will be available from earlier levels.
In addition, active work on the Beta continues. We have already optimized the engine for large locations. The very first Beta location will be four times larger than the current one. At the moment, we are working on the army mechanics, and in the near future, we will have something to show you.
